We recommend slightly opening the venetian roof during heavy winds to allow airflow and prevent strain. If you’ve installed optional blinds, keep them in the fully retracted open position during windy weather. Optimized Patio Placement
To enable the integrated drainage system to work its magic, we recommend securing your pergola to a patio with a slight downward slope. Most outdoor patios naturally angle this way for rainwater runoff. Simply check your paving angle and securely bolt the pergola legs using the holes in each baseplate.
With proper installation oriented downslope, rainwater flows out of sight without you ever having to intervene. We handle the drainage so you can focus on relaxation!
Planning Permission
Great news - no planning permission is typically needed to enjoy our aluminium pergolas due to the open-air roof design. However, do verify guidelines based on your local area just to be safe. Installation:
This pergola is a DIY kit, complete with build instructions available.
The assembly requires 2 people, but we recommend 3. The installation will take 2 to 3 hours.
On heat transfer products, as the laminate sheet is hand-applied, a crinkle effect will appear in some areas.
