All timber surfaces will change colour and mellow over time giving a beautiful aged finish. The finish can be re-applied however it will fade with time and form a natural patina of the wood. Once this has happened, it's very easy to sand down the set and re-apply any coating colour you wish. A garden cover is recommended to help prolong the finish.
The wood on this year's set has been improved from last year and is now a smooth finish.
To prolong the life of the furniture and to keep it clean, we highly recommend covering the set with a garden cover and sealing the wooden elements prior to use.
